Is there anyway I can improve the range of scouing available for me? I can only scout in the UK & Ire at the moment but I want to atleast be able to scout mainland Europe. I'm bournemouth and just finished the 07/08 season and got pomoted by winning League 1. Its only just finished though, will it change when it goes into next season?

The reasons I ask, is because only players you can scout in the local region appear in the "Find Player" function, which leaves it a little vague when searching for bargains etc.

Im afraid not. You have a better range, if you are in the Prem or somewhere big.
Its annoying. And your Finance will count aswell

again something else which aint realistic in FM 08

even the smaller, skint clubs these days have overseas "scouts".
They do not travel, but are based "abroad" and send video links, match reports, player highlights etc to increase the player pool a manager has available

Probably. I know its annyoing but thats how it is in real life
