This is for those of you who have spent a lot of time with all three versions of the game.
Given that all games have bugs to some degree, which of these is the most playable (i.e., lacking in game-distorting or game-killing bugs) right out of the box?
Which is the easiest in terms of developing tactics and having them actually work in a semi-realistic fashion?
I am enjoying my long term FM06 game, so much so that I have not bought FM07 or FM08. Mind you this is with the last patch, why would anyone not apply a free patch to improve the game, beats me!
I dont get why people have to buy the latest FM as soon as its released. Wait untill Christmas when it comes to new FM, its only than the game is fully developed with Patch etc. and is worth playing.
Meanwhile start a long-term career game with FM2007 where you start with a lower league club and try to become the best manager in the world.
FM 05 for me, although I didn't buy 06 (because I loved 05 so much). I didn't even patch 05 and played it for 2 years with no problems at all. 07 was a completely different story lol.

Imagine if they made FM 2008 with all the current data, features (minus the team talks) with the FM 2005 match engine etc  Best.Game.Ever!
