Put disc in drive
Click Start/run
Browse to the disc and on it find the windows install icon.
Doble click so it's in the window and click ok, that should reinstall the game.

When the disk is in the drive it says "please insert disk", so what's the problem there?
I changed mine from DMA to PIO and it worked, but my computer has been running extremely slow since I did that. Apparently PIO mode is a much slower data transfer mode than DMA.
Does it work to change it to PIO only when you want to insert the disk, and back to DMA so the computer runs at its normal speed? Or do you need to restart each time you change it for it to take effect?
If it needs to be on PIO mode and that naturally slows down your computer, I think it's worthy of a complaint to Sega / SI.
I wonder why they bother using disc protection : it leads to a LOT of problems for HONEST people BUYING the game LEGALLY.
While for pirates (trying no to insult them, there might be children reading)... Best case scenario : it just makes 'em work an extra 2 hours to get past the protection. Worst case scenario, they already got the workaround.
So, it's 100% ineffective (ok, maybe only 99%), costly, and it lowers the product's quality. Why the hell would you want that ?
No offense, but being an economist myself, these disc protections makes me doubt of editors' business abilities...

Are you sure your CD-ROM is actually working as both discs don't work? Can you try the discs in another computer? Have you tried restarting the computer, as in cutting the power off?
