Here's an easy way to do it.

Click on Start and choose run.

Type devmgmt.msc into the box that appears and click ok.

Try this site. Here you will be able to download the "no cd crack" This is obviously presuming you own an original version of FM20008.

OK, I've done all this, changing the transfer mode from DMA to POI and back again but my pc still says "insert cd" when it's already there.

No-CD cracks are ilegal, whether you have an original copy of the game or not. Providing a link to one is against the House Rules.

No not yet, I sent my email at about 8am. How long do these issues usually take? Any idea?

Also, when I uninstalled the FM2008 this morning, why can't I see it in the recycle bin? I thought it would be held there so I could simply restore it?
