Its a bug, if say you are doing reasonably well in the league,(12th but the expectation is to challenge for promotion) and THEN you get drawn against Man Utd away in the 3rd round of the F.A cup (a huge achievement for your team) and lose 2-1 your in trouble, because the game goes 'oh you lost in the cup boo' you could very well get the sack, even though in real life no one would EVER get sacked for losing to Man Utd away. Thus bug. The system is NOT accurately mimicking real life and thus is a failure, a failure is a bug.
