Is it possible to manage the U-21 national teams? I've tried this from the start of a new game, but could not assign for the job as U-21 manager, only the national team. I Would like to bring the dutch youth team to the finals again, hopefully it is possible.

what you need to do is take charge of the national team as a different name
(eg.joe bloggs)then you need to remove the u 21 manager after the under 21 manager is removed you now can offer you real manager name the under 21 national job i have done it like this for the last 2 football managers and it works mate.

If you are the manager of a international team, you can manage the U-21, U-19, U-23.

Just press 'take control' in the manager options.

I had to manage the Brazil U-19 because no one wanted the job!!

shame you cant be offered or apply for the under 21's 19's etc without going through that. Seems a bit of a cheat??

you can manage the under 21's etc. When you start a new game, and are adding manager go to the national squad and click on the squad of your choice e.g u23's - u21's - u19's and click add manager on the designated team. When u start then you are manager of the team you chose. Make sense :thup: :thdn:

I was offered the Dutch under 19 job after getting ADO Den Haag promoted.

In my FM2008 game, Gareth Southgate just got the England U21 job.

And then Steve Coppell got the England job a few weeks after.

So I was hoping that maybe U21 and other jobs could be offered to me.....

As far as i'm aware you can be offered U21 jobs, it just doesn't happen very often (my last long term game lasted until 2050ish and i didn't receive a single offer for U21 level).

an area i'd like to see improved in the future
