another thing in 07 which I guess counts, not so much a team making an achievement but a draw. I was doing a side-game with a friend, deciding that italy and france in the same euro qualifying group made for a great short 2 player challenge, which it was. he failed to qualify with france which was funny, but the draw featured a group A with spain, Holland, germany and england, while the other 2 good teams, myself as Italy and portugal were in group B, which meant facing whoever survived group A, which meant a quarter final exit (to spain, who in FM actually are as good as the quality of their players suggests) for me while my friend picked up scotland after his failure with france, and also reached the quarter finals, the thing is while i faced the group of death survivors and the best teams not in the group of death, he was beaten by ireland after just sqeaking through a group featuring the likes of norway and switzerland. normally I am 100% behind open draws and hate seeding, but in this case it's just ridiculous, especially when you consider the strict seeding of the euro championship groups.

mancity finishd 2nd in the second season and beat real madrid at the bernebeau(sp??) in the group stages of the champions league..i almost fainted with shock!! :eek:

Everton won the Prem on my game in the first season
while Man Utd and Chelsea didnt even finish in the top 4, 5th and 6th, Man utd had just managed luckily to get a Uefa Cup spot

in one of my games on 07 liverpool won the premier league. i mean c'mon, thats never going to happen

Serbia lost the EC final to Germany, they are now 3rd best team in the world and Argentina have dropped to 16. Also Derby have avoided relegation 3 years in a row.

Singapore actually managed to qualify for Asian World Cup winning by 1-0 throught the qualifying round....and god... final against korea:

South Korea 15(8 on target) : 3(0) Singapore

Penalty: 0-2 (after 9 fraking tries...gawd)

Bloody Sunderland becoming untouchables in the Premiership after 2 season (they won it 3 times in a row and finished in the top 2 for 7 seasons)in FM08.
Also Arsenal becoming a solid mid table team after Fabregas broke his leg 2 times in a row(he was out for about 20 months total)and Adebayor seems to of died at some point because he played 50 games for the goons over 5 years before retiring
