and to stop any more threads by people who either cant wait or cant read through the official patch thread - its out tomorrow night apparantly. final testing tonight and tomorrow and they will upload it tomorrow. hope this stops all this "when is the patch coming out nonsense" enjoy the last night of the tampering stage - as tomorrow night starts the real business!

sadly the people who don't look at the patch thread will be to lazy to read this page so expect another handful of threads asking for the patch before they actually realise its out tomorrow.

Not many ppl have the patience to go through 20 pages of text to find one piece of information when they as easilly can get an answer by typing 2 lines. I think to have a chance of stopping the threads is to make one official sticky with no other posts than one that keeps updated with information. Keep that one seperated from the discussionthread for users and then maybe one or two threads could be avoided but doubtfully all of them.

A) NOTHING will stop people posting patch threads
B) If something horrific is found during testing (And let's face it, that's what testing is for so there's always a possibility) then the patch won't be out and you'll have a lot of egg on your face.
C) This thread is, IMO, about as valuable as the "Where's the patch" threads.

I think there should be a 25-post unlock before people can post full topics. That way they can be warned/banned and wont have the "n00b" excuse.

cliff pull your head in, i was merely passing on information from the official channels into the public domain - if you dont like that well you are the one with egg on your face mate, not myself, if the patch doesnt come out tomorrow i wont mind, because it will come out eventually all i was pointing out was what was said.
