im not playing more than 2-3 games now a day ... simply cuz em.. im playing in bsp with strong team

have by far most goals in league

problem is.. i can dominate game.. have 15+ goal attempts opponent have 5~ at most.. yet i wont win.. i know i wont win game if im not wining by something as 3 : 0 at first half..

there comes that second half team talk bug.. or whatnot you wanna call it either

i got goalkeeper and 2 cd loaned .. which could be good for championship team..

yet almost every time opposition makes attack. im 80% sure its goal.. and when you see that attacker. with 8 finishing 5 composure 6 long shots.. making 3 goals.. and you win game by 5 4 . or 6 5 , even if you were wining 4 0 4 1 at first half.. or another bunch of 1 1 2 2 games..

and i know there is lots of you won got draw or lost game even if having 90% of all goal attempts in game..

saying its tactic... or they got better chances is kinda bullshit ..

i wont even mention how solo striker who get pass from gk manages to outrun my 4 defenders.. or dont get offside when there is one.. and whole similar bunch of stuff

this really ruins game for me.. i dont mind having even game or close to even. but when you have 25 goal attempts opposition 5. and game ends 5 4 6 5 2 2 and all that.. is ANNOYING and unrealistic.. yes you can see look bayern didnt beat that middle table team 2 weeks ago. even if controlling whole game

but that aint same.. defending team didnt scored 5 goals in those 5 attacks they made..

and games like that are 1 from 10.. not 9 from 10.. my mailbox is full of those... opposition team is lucky to have drawn .. crap

no tactic in this world makes my team miss 25 chances and lets the other team score from one chance in the last minute..

the game has big problems and to avoid getting further annoyed with it i stopped playing it days ago..until the patch..

in the end its si that will lose out because people will just stop buying the game...all it takes is another firm to make a bug free good football management game and they are in trouble

look calm down about

1)Have a read of the tactics section in the manual

2) try a slow tempo to avoid players rushing / snapping at chances

3) reduce the number of players taking long shots

4) consider if your strikers have the best stats, finishing is not the only attribute

5) consider if your formation makes the best use of you squads skills

6) teams say a goal down will go all out attack, how do you cope with this. Its easy to see from teams formation seen on pitch esle from formations tab during game. Perhaps look to go ultra defensive, play a 5 man midfield, time waste, dont close down so the team's defensive shape remains

1. Bugged FM is still streets ahead of the other games.
2. Whilst FM08 has flaws at least we know SI are working their socks off to get it fixed.

Download and play the CM demo while you wait for the patch. That will help balance your view I think

em999, I'd be interested to see if you saw things any differently using the tips.

e.g. if a positive change then SI could make some of this more apparent in their manual since this is a common complaint

if no help then I'm talking out of my ar$e and will keep quiet
