due to the lack of being able to assess your own players like you can scout others in FM 07, I would often add an untitled user so I could assess my youth players (use him to scout them, then retire him), for a long time i saw a bilbao player with the surname of user, I did wonder but didn't read too much into it, you never know with basques, but then a player whose first name was 'untitled' came along, it was than I realized such a thing existed in the game. roughly what age do you have to be for such a thing to start occuring, because i'm thinking of looking for my own name when the time is right.

I've had about ten in FM07 on different saves, same nationality (English and St Lucian) and same second name.

Never had one in 07.

Had one of my coaches have one come through. Turned out to be useless so they both got the sack.

Going to set my age in late 30s when the new patch comes out and see if I get one.

Would the reputation you set at the start affect whether you get one or not?

Anyway I had a son once ones, well my wife had one and I hope I'm his father... Anyway he was rubbish so I released him and shortly after he retired (he was only 19). Maybe his mom told him to get an education and a proper job - I don't know...

I can't remember clearly but I had one quite early into one of my games at Atletico, when I was about 33, he came through the youth system but he wasn't very good (so I edited his stats in the edior ).

I've just started a new game as Welling and have already got a St Lucian regen, so in a few years hopefull I'll have a son come through the youth ranks too.

I have one in my Rushden & Diamonds game Well i think i have:

- He has my last name (Schipper, not really English, i am Dutch).
- He has my nationality while all other youth players are obviously English.
- He is a regen
- I am his favorit personel

I only have one problem, he doesn't look like me and my gf is questioning me mad :p
