Must have missed this one...which is weird cos I pretty much bought them all. First one I can remember playing was probably the first Football Manager on my Amstrad CPC back in the 80's. Used to play FA Cup a lot as well. My how football games have changed.

I also loved Football Director on the Spectrum. I remember that you be fined for crowd violence! I also remember the 9 star ratings, and if you won quite a few games then the difficulty rating would change from easy to hard, and you'd find yourself playing against unbeatable teams. I think the most expensive players cost 900k.
I also remember a game called 'On The Bench' that was quite good.
There were a few others too that were ok. There was one where you could decide on improvements to your stadium and decide on the price of beer, replica shirts etc... I remember that the price of beer in my stadium was sold at a massive loss!

First management game for me was imaginatively called The Soccer Game, by Wizard Games. Boy Wizard used to make some fantastic, fun games in the old DOS days... anyone remember Rockstar?
