Default CPU or Ram?

Which component is the most important thing for running FM2008?

I hve got the following configuration:
intel celeron 3000
2g ram

I can run about 21 countries with all divisions and large database in FM2007.How about in FM2008?Can I run the same?

Both, but in your case you would benefit from upgrading the Celeron- as the 2gb is more than adequate.

game processing runs quicker in FM08 so it should be fine.

As George says, 2gb ram is plenty fine

I went from 1.5 gigs of ram to 2.5 gb without noticing any difference, so go look at another processor.

Or even better, just try fm08! As MrPompey said, game processing runs quicker, so you might not even need an upgrade!

I have Core2 E6550 OC 3.0G and 2G DDR2 800, open 8 country, 18 level league.
The FM08 can perfect supply dual-core CPU?

There is an option to dual thread but I don't know how much this helps e.g. % process improvement

Upgrade your processor to the fastest your motherboard and wallet allow. You have plenty of RAM for FM (according to Task Manager my current game running 21 leagues in 10 countries is only using ~250MB). Go dual or even quad-core if you can as FM uses all available CPU cores, thus considerably speeding up the game. Intel Core2Duo/Quad are fantastic value at the moment and "better" than their AMD equivalents clock-for-clock (and £ for £).

i have a 2.4 Ghz Athlon.

I started with 1GB RAM and recommended setup was 4 leagues in one country [england]

I upgraded to 2GB RAM and now recommended setup is 14 leagues in 4 countries [england, scotland, spain and italy]

now that's a difference
