are the ones underrated in the db...
in particularly the African boys, Kroos and Alexis Sanchez, hopefully alot of them will be fixed come the next db
Not saying you're wrong (Time will judge that, not me), but who says that it's not the list that's incorrect and that the SI database is spot on?
It's impossible to say here and now who is under / over rated with regards to potential unless you have access to a time machine. You may well be right, I'm not denying that, but you state your opinions as if they're stone cold facts. They're not.
Couldnt agree more mate Thumbs Up
Well Adams, Sanchez and many in that list deserve more that -8 potential, to me it is stone cold fact....there wouldn't be such a scramble for these players if they could end up with '130/140' potential

But they might end up useless in real life in a couple of seasons time. So many players fall by the wayside after being targeted by big clubs. Potential is a prediction not an actual fact. So many players are touted as the next big thing then do absolutly nothing with their potential.

Freddy Adu is an example, was tracked by all the BIG clubs and touted as a future major star, now he is not exactly setting the world alight at Benfica. Not every one on that list will turn out to be a player with 198 PA
198pa? now who's being exaggerative? I find the -8 PA a rubbish pa....-9 which i suggested for Christanus, Rabiu, Sanchez and Adams is plenty good enough for a average star or a good star
Adu will come good anyway....i'd say he's roughly a 168 pa IRL....deserving of a -9 pa

Yeah 198 i was exagerating and i didn't complain about others exagerating so don't get why your complaining about that.
But anyway, very rarely can you truely tell how a 17year old is going to turn out some won't even get a game at a top flight club, others will go on and excel.
The randomisation system, for a start is so that you can't keep just buying the same players over and over with each game you play so that you have to use your scouts etc which adds realism, you can't predict the future.
Secondly, very few players should have an absolutly amazing PA, only maybe 10 players in the world should have a PA of over 190 to add realism.
Seriously, if you have a cristal ball telling you WITHOUT SHADOW OF DOUBT that all the players on that list will grow to achieve great things, I'd really really like to start a player agency with you. Financing won't be a problem either. Just show the bank your arguments and hey, presto! They'd give you all the money you need...
Surely no one can argue with the PA randomisation system. Like stumostro said it adds the realism (fun-factor?) of NOT being able to just poach your usual suspects every game?
