Ive been playing it constantly- in my 4th season now as I play it slowly, sometimes 2-3 games in a night.

I stopped playing near enough straight away and waited for a patch, when the 2nd beta patch was released I played a Sheff Utd game that I'm now in the second season of.

I've just stopped playing again a few days ago because of the slow down, was really starting to annoy me.

Nope - not me. To be honest, i get very little time to play it (work + child = very little free time) - but i was playing last night for a while. Near the end of my first season with Liverpool (April 6th to be exact), Top of the Prem, into the semi final of CL, into the final of the FA Cup and knocked out of League cup in the 4th round by Everton (board aren't letting me forget that one).

So - have to say i'm still enjoying the game (with the 2nd patch of course) - i don't see any issue with speed whatsoever, and i'm running a large database with English, Italian, Spanish, Scottish leagues.

After years of buying the game on or very shortly after the release date, I gave up this year. Too many times they have released a game that is barely playable until the second or third patch comes out in January, so I figured I'd save the hassle and money, and buy it for a much reduced price once the game is finally up to standard.

The game is far from "barely playable" out of the box. You know - if the internet didnt exist, i'll bet that everyone would be playing away with the game and not noticing ANY bugs at all - forums are really a breeding ground for whiners and moaners (i'm not calling you either - just stating the point).

Of couse, your opinion is as valid as mine - so what the hell.

I stopped, but not because the game bugged me, but because I don't want to invest hours of time into tactics that work etc, when they might not work after the patch

conveniently I have plenty of other things going on lately and a very good 07 Kidderminster game running for 20 seasons now (my 1000th game with the Harriers was my first champion's league final, which I won... pretty exciting stuff)

I have stopped playing till the new patch is released.
Because, it’s to slow, the moral issue is causing me to lose matches I would won if my team was concentrated enough and a personal annoyance is match confidence telling me that they are disappointed about the performance when only longing 0-1 or 0-2 to much better team.

Nope, thoroughly enjoying the game and still playing with beta patch 2, and have a fantastic game going with Wolves at the moment where I am on the verge of turning them into a force. Currently in season 4 with 10 fully playable leagues and 10 viewable only leagues and it's running at a very acceptable pace.

I am a bit concerned however as when I apply the new patch will it effect my game drastically? As I really don't want to have to start a new game if necessary, however I do need the patch.
