I bought the brilliant Theo Robinson for Hereford and I just found out he's playing there for real right now! on a loan though...

In FM07 - Torres to Liverpool about 2 months before news of the RL transfer came out, I did pay quite a bit more for him in the game than the Reds did in the real world, however! About 55 million quid if memory serves me right.... and a 30% sell-on clause. I think Atletico Madrid went quite a bit up the "richest teams" list in the game from that shopping spree.

Not a Man U fan but started a game up with them a few years ago, mainly just to see what it was like with lots of cash as I usually start in a lower division.
Anyway, I signed C.Ronaldo and about a month later Man U bought him IRL.
