To everybody that is doing this: STOP IT!. All it's doing is delaying the patch because it's slowing the whole site for EVERYBODY.

Agree with that. It's just taken me 5 minutes to get on the site, everytime I tried to connect I got server error messages. Will give it another 30 mins & check back again.

I have never known the site so slow I wonder how long it take to download the patch.

I'd like to think that the servers will hold up just fine, After all, they do have download only sales that would require a fair amount - I'd imagine all extra hosts/servers/bandwidth will be easily switched to cater for the patch, if needed.

With that in mind, I would think that the patch will run at about 50-75% of your DSL speed.
