I started playing FM 2006, but got more into Fm 2007. Having played a demo for this years game (My Xmas present from a relative is FM2008) I can see myself shutting the outside world otu and play until I have to stop for a reason.

Football Manager 2006 was my first game i played before that i always used to play LMA on Playstation.

played the first edition on the amiga, always remember the domark loading screen. danny murphy was ace.

not 100% sure but i think italian one one came out for pc as it was 1 of 1st games to use a cd instead of a floppy </BLOCKQUOTE>

The version was Championship Manager Italia '94 . My fave team was Fiorentina, I remember a guy called Daniele Beltrammi - used to have random stats - but once or twice he became the best player in the game! Scored more goals than games played!
Also - Fabio di Sole - a full back who scored 25 goals for me in a season once.
