Here guys/girls just to save you all from scrolling through endless pages of S**T on the new patch thread thought i'd post the most recent update from the member of the SI team, (like Mr. Pompey did) it goes like this:

Hi Guys,

I have another update for you.

There are a bunch of us here still at the office and we're still working away on getting these patches ready for you. They are currently in the uploading phase now but the upload speeds we're getting to the servers are quite poor, so it's likely to be a couple of hours before the download URLs are available.

If some of you are happy to stay up and hang around, then you should be able to get the patch at some point. For those of you who can't afford to stay awake, by the time you come back in the morning they should be all there and ready to go.

In them meantime, for those of you who are used to using torrent software, we will also be making the patches available through the torrent file system and these are likely to be ready and live before the downloads.

Keep in mind however that we do not have many seeds currently with this approach, so it may take a little while longer than normal to get them through torrents. If you do go for this approach, we'd be really grateful if you could seed your downloads so other people can get them faster.

Thanks again for your patience, and good things come to those who wait, or something like that.

Hoping that as soon as someone finds the torrent, they would be kind enough to post a link.

I have torrent finder on my laptop, which searches like 20 different torrent sites. I'll check every 10 mins or so and If i find one, ill yell

probably best to just wait for SI to post it on here... otherwise people could end up downloading god knows what, put up by some unscrupulous person.

If we start a campaign to get everyone off this site for half hour or so, would that free up the server for them to upload the patch quicker?

Well I know im staying up due to the fact i have the "I" word which allows me to stay up, but in answer to your original post BlackofSic I will do my best to post a link and seed it too, cant hog all of the fun!
