Default creating sections for a layout

okay the problem is...When i am designing a layout and i want to put the sections on the left side or the right side with a nice font and blend or filter for the name of the section if the size that i have to work with is limited and i have a lot sections how do I add those sections if the canvas I have in photoshop isnt big enough to put all my sections? Also, do i just put the name of the sections right under eachother and then slice some sort of content box under them or do i space them out a little bit to put a content box? These parts are really confusing me and I have been trying to figure it out but i cant. thanks for any help

Hi Juggalo Bags...

Yes, space out your sections to look exactly how you want them to in the actual Webpage.

And increase your canvas size if it's not large enough to fit the design for your content.

yea i tried making my canvas size bigger and the top of my header started to come out of my actual layout and it is still the same size regardless, im tryin to work on my own site and doing another site for a local tattoo shop and this stuff is really confusing me i figured by now i would of grasped the concept of it all but it seems that i cant. i dont think i have a good enough imagination to come up with a tight layout for any site. so yea there is where the problem lies...

hmm.. i'm a little confused now as to what exactly the problem is you're having...?

Can you start from the beginning and explain the issue again?

okay say i make my layout 800x600 and i make a collage header at the top to go with the theme of the layout...now i want to add my sections or different types of content on the side. what if there is not enough room for everything i want to put on the side? How do i make room? I see some people just use the layout and add all there content with css and php. Do i have to learn more of these scripting languages or is there an easier way around it???

Try making the canvas big enough to fit all your page, then use elastic html tables to make the content stretch across the scree, if that's what you mean... \:]
