Its a strange one, I think for realism you have to say fully patched ( yes I said the word patch) football manager is the most in dept game, you do have to invest time in it to get the results. There is a lot of thinkering but when you get it right its great. To be honest I do use the save cheat a little bit, just can't help myself but mostly its a great tool for tweaking tactics.

The funniest thing about england trying to qualify was that in my game they won the euro 2008 against italy by 1-5. Hahaha! I wrote that somewhere else as well because I thought it is the only thing that will never happen in football!

I am glad though, that many people say "yes, you can play any way you want". Why, thank you very much. This is definately a great step from the fascist approach "don't you dare play games again, you cheater!"

I saw that one user is actually asking si to install a function in the game that will make it impossible to play a game again. Hahahaha! I bet his great grand-dad was burning witches.

This religious approach to the game has lead many other users to say "the majority of people in here never cheat!". As a matter of fact, they do. But they do it with guilt and are tortured later by remorse. I think, a useful thing that si could do is hire a few therapists or priests where the players can go, in complete anonymity, and confess what they've done.

Or, even better, the players can follow the red mice way. This technique starts with the simple recognition that it is a game made by humans and therefore is not perfect. Once you realise that you can proceed and improve it, without demons chasing you at nights when you sleep...
