hi i had the correct league and cup names in the original database, but with the new patch and database its gone back to first division etc..

do i have to put the files somewhere new ive checked in program files/db and it says 800 not 801?

For whatever reason (and its been like this for years) the game (even saved games) takes competition names from the latest version of the database no matter where the database the game was created on is be it the default one or one you've created.

Unless anyone knows any different you need to edit them again in the updated database which came with the patch.

where do i edit hopefully not in the editor that came with the game as i downloaded it i didnt go through the editor?

Yeah in the editor. When you load it up you should have the original, 8.01 update and any you have created. If the update isnt there then the patch hasnt worked properly.

its ok done it in c/program files/SI/UPDATES its in ther so i knew where to put it thanks for your help anyway
