Default Crash dumps

Hi all.

When i get to end of november beginning of december in 2009 fm08 closes down and a message says that a error has occured and has created a crash dump.

It gives me the directory to look in but nothing there?

I thought it may have been because i created a new database but it also does the same on the default db. 3rd time it has happend on 3 different games.

I can reloa the game but give it a couple of days then same happens!

any ideas??

Thanks
John

It crashes on the 5th December 2009 right? Known issue, fixed with patches.

Yeah no probs.

"A serious error was encounted and the application will now close. An error file has been generated in:

pc name/c:/users/username/documents/sport interactive/ football manager 2008/ crash dumps."

using windows vista enough hard disk enough ram. hardware all fine.

Have you tried going on holiday to the day after that date? That sometimes works.

A lot of people seem to have the problem where no crash dump file is created. Anyone know why the file doesn't show up? It would be extremely helpful if we could actually see what's in the crash dump file (i assume it would actually be relevant, but you never know...)
