To add to the thanks, I'd like to give thanks myself to all those involved tonight not just at SI, but at Sega Europe and Sega America too.
It's been somewhat chaotic for the last couple of days, as we've had no email at SI Towers (until about 10 minutes ago) and from a personal point of view, my laptop had a heart attack, and had a heart transplant this afternoon, with it coming out of it's coma err, about a minute ago (which is why Neil's been updating, rather than me, this evening).
To top it all, at 5.30pm we found out that we couldn't use our planned host for the patch, but the 3 David's at Sega saved the day by coming up with another option, with Paul D sorting out the torrents. That also lead to a delay. Which was further delayed by the (grumble grumble) Mac version causing a few "issues" this evening, which we then found out were caused by a dodgy install of the Mac game, rather than the patch itself.
Whilst watching the England game in the office whilst trying to re-install my work PC, and with no email trying to co-ordinate finding a download host wasn't a lot of fun, it's probably better than the feeling of being in the pub with mates watching the England game, so it worked out quite well in the end....
Don't forget to keep the torrents live after downloading if you are using that route - that way everyone will get the patch a lot quicker.
And finally, thanks to you for being patient!
