My strikers are constantly missing excellent chances and I'm struggling to score even with 20+ shots. Do I have to start a new game, because I just continued my pre-patch game?
Ive tried a new game and continuing my saved game - Either way strikers are still retarded and or the keepers are amazing, there doesnt seem to be any carsons in the game anywhere!
I've continued my pre-patch game with Liverpool. Before the patch I was scoring tons of goals and now my strikers keep shooting straight at the goalkeepers or missing the goal by large from 5 meters.
Just started a new game with Newcastle, Martins is flying, scoring loads.
Also, Riquelme wanted to join, which, pre-patch he didn't, so I've signed him, stuck him in the AMC free role and every time he gets the ball, he plays some astonishing passes for Martins to run on to.
Martins, as in real life, scores one in about six chances!
I've also noticed this. I've continued a save game with Spurs and since the patch I have played a season with my strikers really struggling. They are having plenty of chances. Pre-patch they were scoring as you expect in a good team. My goals all seem to come from midfielders... Maybe the official patch will tweak this. Hopefully then I will stop getting the 'hasn't scored in over ten hours' message for my forwards!
