Ok - just thought I'd update everyone - I have won promotion and my balance was at -£500,000 not good.

SO what do that board do? EXPAND the stadium by 6000 seats and that brings the balance to....

-£8,000,000 ! Impossible! They didn't even take out a loan! What am I to do now!

The board now say in confidence: "We are distraught and devasted with the clubs bacnk balance" - hey that was you not me!

Good news - The club have restructured the debt - but we have to pay back £100,000 a month. Don't know how we can manage that if we couldn't manage £50,000 last season, but I have arranged some high profile friendlies and hopefuly the chance to play in a higher league should draw some more crowds.

I'll keep you updated, otherwise let me know if you have any suggestions

I had the same problem with an amateur team that had just built a new 10000 capacity stadium and were paying 150k per month in loans for xx years. I drew a crowd average of 300 people per home game but what happened was that every month my board pumped in 160k of money to cover the loan and a bit extra. It might happen to you too... ?

Me too!!!

Was getting about 2000 in every week when the stadium holds 4500 so they expanded to over 10,000!!!! I've been 2.5 mill in debt for a whole season and the board are actually angry with me for this.

Aint got the sack yet but i reckon its coming, the only thing that holding me together is my wage budget is well under.

I'll keep ya posted.

I was in the same situation with my Cultural Leonesa team (spanish division 2B2). My wagebudget was around 10k pr. week and I managed to keep within or very close to it but still lost money, a lot considering what level we're at. Now i'm in my 4th season (1 game in) after winning promotion to LIGA BBVA (2nd division) in my first season I'm still there and still have trouble making profit. My account is now £888k in the red and my wagebudget is $49k/week but I spend £55k/week (my board is not happy about that) but even though I'm only £6k pr. week over my budget I lose much more money then that...but where??

I had only one home game in August and my expenses except wages or other player-related is these:

Match day expenses (one game): £43811
Tax: £25799
Ground maintenance: £40735
Non-Football Costs: £68810

Now that's a LOT of ground maintenance and matchday expenses, not to say non-football costs..now I won't claim to know mutch about the expenses within running a club but those 3 seem WAY too high to me. all that was in ONE month. Actually last seasons ground maintenance was a whopping £656863...now that's a shedload of money for groundmaintenance without doing ANYTHING with the stadium.

OMG! That's crazy! I'm really worried now, because I have just won promotion to LIGA BBVA with my team Ejcia and it seems I might have the same problem.

This has to be a bug. £43811 for one game? Report it in the bugs forum mate!
