One of my DC is a young and talented bloke who has been performing very vell the past season. He has attracted some interest from other clubs along with many of my other players. So eventually I got a question from the press asking if I thought I would be able to keep a player like him. I answered that I wanted him to stay and hoped he felt the same way. The player was happy and felt reassured and played even better. Then I get an enquiry for him which I rejected as we were going into the play off final the day after and if we manage to scrape a win there I will be needing this player. The players earlier reaction indicated that he wanted to stay and he was happy playing for the club and the team making the enquiery was in the same division as me. Now he is unhappy that he isn't allowed to move. I know people can be irrational and have a hard time making up their mind but the timing stinks.
