its not a bug. runs just fine. mine is at 19%, spiking at 49%.

im guessing you are running a pc thats a few years old.

as much as i bagged SI for screwing up the release with the bugs, this time they've done a stirling job.

Parky 27: I'm sure there is a quicker way of checking CPU usage but for a constant readout this is my method:

In FM08 select Options &gt; Preferences &gt; Display & Sound then untick Full Screen option to go into Windowed mode. Then Ctrl-Alt-Del to open Task Manager in new window. CPU Usage at bottom of page.....

Im getting 100% usage on the team selection screen. Even if i just let it sit there and dont do anything.

During a game, which is usually the heaviest load time, im getting between 40-60%.

No problems here, and I am using a near antique Athlon XP 3000+ (yes, thats from before Athlon 64s) with 1GB of RAM and WinXP SP2. 10% CPU usage with FM idling in the foreground, not 100% unless its processing fixtures (which it is meant to be, hehe :p).

Just a note: graphics cards will not make the slightest bit of difference with regards performance of FM - not exactly a graphicly intensive game

No problem here, idles at 0% and ramps up to 100% on all four cores when processing matches.

Seems to be the best optimised version of FM so far.

CPU Usuage = 0-2%

When it's processing it goes up to maybe 60%

I can still play music and browse online, an even use photoshop while it's processing.

I don't even have a dual core cpu.
