i have been playing champ man for years and i have yet to produce a single player good enough to compete at the very highest level, sure i produce players who turn out to have a high potential ability, but they always have some comically low attribute for there position or have physical attributes of peewee herman

Yes, I've had them in the past, rarely though. The best example is from FM08, Chris Mullen came through my team at AFC Telford. He has since gone on to be a first choice England player and plays midfield for Man City who have won the title.
