I've seen everyone get relegated except both Mancester teams (which have come very close a couple of times), and Chelsea (which haven't).

Liverpool spent 10 years in the championship before bouncing back, while Wigan made a brief appearance in the conference.

im in my first season as wigan manager and liverpool are third from bottom and im in febuary

On FM 08 Newcastle, but on the previous version Liverpool ended up in League 1 before bouncing back up and beating me to the title.

Some shocking news came from Germany in my game.

10 May 2014. Deutsche Rekordmeister FC Bayern München, hopeless all season, just got relegated from 1. Bundesliga with one match to spare. They were bottom of the league since matchday #15.

They lifted their last German title in 2010. After that Bayern just collapsed, #10 in both 2011 & 2012, a minor recovery reaching #9 in 2013 and the full collapse now in 2014.

So what caused this sudden collapse?
Der Kaiser.
He left at the end of the season 2010.
