last night a mate sent me a torrent to get all the competition logos badges etc and i had to create a folder called graphics. everr since then FM08 aint worked... well it has but there is no background, everything is just plain white.. ive got rid of the torrent and they graphics folder i created but i still cant get fm to work no more, ive also tried uninstalling and re-installingg the game but no results.... any idea on how i can fix this?

Also do a complete uninstall including any registry files relating to the game.

Kazza ive uninstalled the game and reinstalled it no difference, but what are registry files relating to the game? i mean the game does work fine its just theres no background, its just plain white, no colours no nothing, its basically common text on a page :/

This may sound daft but in the preferences did/have you clicked background images.

Registry files can be found when you do "regedit" in search and remove all the files with Eidos /FM2208 but do not go there yet.

Where are you dropping the graphics folder? It should be going in the FM directory in My Documents, or else yes, you lose menus and stuff like you describe.
