The games not perfect but none of the past versions have been either but being branded the worst version ever is just laughable, it's playable & if you actually invest some time to consider your tactics it's a very, very good game.

To help remove those rose tinted glasses install one of the older versions (excl. FM07) just to see how far things have progressed.

It's not the worst version at all. It is the most frustrating but that's what makes FM... well FM!

no, although they're all very good, fM 06 is the least good because it was little different to 05, team talks aside. still had great fun with it though.

It's the worst version, but I've only been playing since FM05.

it would seem that I need to be a tactical genius to enjoy my game, and a tactical genius is what I'm not.

I have been addicted to the football manager universe since the release of championship manager 94/95 English and Scottish league. And after the tragic divorce in ’05, I chose as many other football manager gamers, to go with the match engine and thereby also settle with SEGA as a new distributor of the game. And never before this version of the game have I regretted it. I am so close to actually buy Championship Manager 2008 and throw FM 08 into the trash although it will ruin my massive collection of the games. FM should not be released before it is playable. All this put in to one sentence; FM ’08 is by far the most tragic and unplayable version of this game ever to be releashed and patches has only made it worse.
