hmm, 2 or 3 times a week.

favourate is probably Gaucho Grill (argentinian steak house), Royal China or Trader Vicks in Mayfair.

Way more often than I can afford. And it's difficult anyway because of the IBS, so I take loads of pills that are probably ruining my body to do it. But I just can't be arsed to cook

A lot, but a lot of that time is with clients so luckily it doesn't come out of my pocket.

First time I went to Strada it was great. The 20% off meant that it was value for money given the food you get.

Second time I didn't feel that the food and service matched up to the cost.

Third time was with some friends and it was the singularly worst dining out experience I've ever had. It was like a cattle market in there and the staff were woeful. Needless to say, I won't be going back until I hear that standards have improved.

The service is awful and the food is bog standard really. It's the sort of place people go to when they want to be seen to be splashing out but don't actually care about what the food is like or at least can talk a load of old ******** about the food with their fellow NIMBYish chums.

I'm expecting Prezzo to follow down the same path having had a decent meal there shortly after it opened only to hear less complimentary reports about it in recent weeks.

Thankfully Canterbury has The Goods Shed and Cafe Mauresque which are both excellent failsafes in slightly different price brackets.

Generally though we don't tend to eat out much as getting a group of friends round and chucking something together yourself/with your mates is a much better alternative.

I really want to try Reeds, The Farm at Fulham and The Dining Room in Faversham.

I like Strada. How did you get 20% offf?

When I'm at home I don't eat out.

When I'm at the flat in Chelsea with my gf we eat out down king's road - there are some fantastic italians and the Big and Easy Crab Shack - all you can eat chicken and ribs

When I'm up in Cardiff we eat out lots too. My gf loves eating out, so I'm happy to as well, nopw I can affford it.

Oh, and best restaurant is Wings in Farnborough. I guarantee its the best Chinese you'll ever have. I know the owners so eat there quite a lot.
