My cat's have just brought in this little mouse from the garden. They're currently in the process of terrorising the poor thing. Letting it go, catching it, toying with it, pretending to look away while it scampers then jumping on it.

Normally I’ll take it off them, and take it outside into the garden.

But i dunno. It's nature isn't it?

so shall i:

a) catch it and let it loose (bare in mind the torture has been going on for a good 5 minutes, so it's probably dying anyway)

b) put it out of it's misery and whack it with a hammer?

c) just let the cats have their fun?

Let nature take its course, unless your cat becomes sick after eating the mouse as you should then take your cat to the vet.

it's just sitting there. Both cats are standing guard, right next to it waiting for it to try to escape, but it's not moving.

it's like it's saying 'go on, kill me!! kill me!!'

My cats are confused, they're touching it with their paws, but it's just standing there.

this is one hard ****er of a mouse. respect little mouse. respect.

Give the mouse a cooking pot and see what it can do.
Maybe if it makes the cat a lovely fish pie they'll be friends

prod the mouse with a stick, please just do it to see if its either:

a) dead but somhow sitting up

b) if it really is a hard-ass mouse
