Winona Rider signs for Star Trek XI

I hear they're going to be trampling on a bit of canon already, so that may not be an issue for them. Then again, plenty of actresses have worn wigs in Star Trek, so if the role is quite brief (as I imagine it is), then that would be easier than dying her hair.

Ah, Harlan. Never fails to disappoint if you're expecting a rocket. Still, he has toned it down a bit with a recent comment:

I just remembered that Harlan Ellison was a "special consultant" to B5.

As for Winona, she shouldn't be let near a sci-fi film again after her so-called "acting" in Alien Resurrection.
