Default Sir Bobby Robson - Tomorrow's Ireland game to be his last

He did an exclusive interview with SSN yesterday, saying tomorrow's Ireland match will be his last in football. Its just got to the point where his health has deteriorated too much.

Ive read his autobiographies and he's been through alot of sh*t in his life, fought cancer five times, and still manages to get involved in football at the age of 74.

He will be missed in the football world

I met him just before the 90 WC and he was a very nice bloke. Good luck to him.

It's a shame, but perhaps he just too frail now to be involved in day-to-day management. I wish him good health and he'll always have a place in black and white folk-lore.

I love that great quote from Wenger where he said Bobby had such an appetite for the game he must eat a football for breakfast every morning. cba to google it though.

A true legend of the game, one of the best managers of his time.

He will be missed from the football world certainly.

good manager and all, but that's going more than a little overboard, isn't it?

Never appreciated enough in his time as England manager. Compared to those before and after him he stands out as one of our best managers (Euro 88 aside)
