I was not planning on buying the game but now tempted because of the OTF league and I like the managerial carear mode along with the pro mode.
How does this game play online? I remember FIFA 07 being poor online.

Hearing about the Be A Pro mode made me slightly curious to check out this year's FIFA (I haven't tried one since 2000). I downloaded the 360 demo. It was disappointing to discover how bad it still is. IMO it doesn't even look nice, never mind play well.
EA seem to love to publish videos of Ronaldinho and Klose et al gurning in the skintight suits with the ping-pong balls, yet the translation to game animation (particularly in the cut scenes) remains pretty unconvincing.

you two i higly reccomend getting it, people are bad-mouthing it but its a good game
Tony - Online is good, very simple, choose from ranked or unranked matches, you have custom leages and interactive leagues
nothing too complicated tbh
Nerf - Demo is nothing compared to game, i had doubts about buying the game after that demo but its nothing alike
The league is on PS3 though, dunno if you can cross-platform play

I will wait and hear what the feedback is on the game once people have played a season or once more people join on ine and see if the games are still smooth.
In the menu does it have options to join tournaments people have created?
