World Touring Car Champion

For the third year in a row Andy Priaulx has won the world Touring Car Championship. Will anyone care? I doubt it.

Last year he has won 2 in a row and didnt even get mentioned on sports personality of the year.

I am probably bias because he is from Guernsey like myself, but i think he should get more recognition. i mean, lewis hamilton is probably going to win the award this year and he has only finished 2nd in his competition. if he wins the F1 title 3 years in a row then he will probably be knighted!

even the bbc website only has it has a minor story on their motorsport page and doesnt even mention it on their main sports headlines.

Lots about it on Autosport as you might expect.

Really thought he wouldn't be able to make it three (four if you count the ETCC in 2004) after seeing his grid position (particularly in relation to Yvan Muller) for the first race, especially considering the chaos that normally happens at Lisboa on the first lap!

We're bound to have a green masthead on Autosport this week too, as rounding off a great weekend in Macau, Oliver Jarvis won the F3 race.

Steve Plater won the motorbike race too!
