Will Smith do you think it'd be best to go with the one I linked you then? Or shall I wait until a new one? I don't buy many games for the PC, only COD and FM really, so if the card should be enough to handle the next COD then it'll do me nicely tbh.
AGP is an aging platform, it is unlikely anymore agp cards will be released. That card in the link represents the best performance and value for money available imo. It's also well suited to your current set up.
They will be releasing more (at least nvidia have said they will) but the rest of his system will be holding him back with anything quicker tbh. 7600GT should be plenty quick enough.

Nothing. By which I mean your pc wouldn't boot. Happened to me when I bought my new card the other week. As a temporary fix I removed a couple of drives, but picked up a secondary power supply for 25 quid which just powers the graphics card, leaving the rest of the system to the original psu.

7600 was a mid-range card when it was released. Quite how you can call it "amazing" Will, I dunno.
I'm talking on the agp platfom, it outperformed a 7800gs in some cases and was a hell of alot cooler. I run at 1024*768 which is sufficient for me (i know you bum your big monitors etc) and it runs most of the latest games on full settings. for Performance and value there is no better card for agp out there
