Not your usual Saturday night fayre - Downfall, C4, 9pm
Like I say, not a traditional Saturday night film, but its amazing in my opinion. Everyone should see it.
From Radiotimes.com:
The final days of the Third Reich are claustrophobically re-created in this acutely observed, Oscar-nominated drama. Made by German director Oliver Hirschbiegel, it's a ground-breaking attempt to confront the ghosts of his country's Nazi past. Using a script that combines details from the memoirs of Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudl Junge, and historian Joachim Fest's book, Inside Hitler's Bunker, Hirschbiegel meticulously depicts the Führer's last gasp of power, as observed by Junge herself (Alexandra Maria Lara).

Watchable and of course fairly interesting, but I think it's pretty hard to "play" Hitler. Clearly such an odd character and it's hard to portray him - can he be charasmatic, intelligent and funny or can we just have him wearing a "down with Jews" t-shirt?
I'm looking forward to seeing Das Leben der Anderen, I think the story of the Stasi is very interesting (currently reading 'Stasiland').
