so failing at barca, having a couple of decent seasons at an average spanish club, being loaned back to boca and none of the top clubs really wanting to sign him at 29 and he's one of the best in the world?
he's good, infact he does look awesome from time to time (when he can be bothered) but i wouldnt say he's "one of the best"

Hes a very good but very lazy player. In my opinion he is not one of the best in the game.

Undoubtedly blessed with talent that few players can match (if any?) so yes in terms of pure talent, technique and pure ability of course he is one best players on the planet.
Although he is also lazy, petulant and a bit of a rogue, i'd still take him at United.
