| French law forbids bundling the sale of a mobile phone and a mobile operator. The iphone will be very expensive in France because of it being sim free.

| Yep, that was my conclusion after using it for a few days. It's not bad as a phone but not as good as a Nokia. As a multimedia device however, it blows everything else out of the water.

as far as all in ones go, it seems to be a jack of all trades, but a master of none.
i would imagine that they will make an improved version within a year with 3g support, higher resolution camera, mms support and basically improve on everything they have already done.
i suppose its the price thats the worst thing. for what it costs, it really doesnt offer value for money. think ill stick to my n95 and seperate ipod for now

Don't know about calling it the 'jack of all trades and master of none'. For browsing the web, listening to music and watching videos it is pretty fb.
