Saw a bunch of people sitting on the street outside the Apple shop today on Regent St.

Some had tents - am sure the rain last night was fun!

How many people actually use their phone to do anything other than txt or call someone? O have a k800i and never use camera or video and very rarely use the internet on it.
I have decided I am going to get the ipod touch for xmas. Ipod touch has double space capacity than the ipod phone has and I dont have to pay £30 a month for 18 months while it costs £50 to have a half decent tarif which is 1000 txts and 500 mins.

Plenty of times I've been out and have needed/wanted to take a picture. It's not like having a camera subtracts away from being able to talk/text and you can get phones with really good cameras for free on most contracts now too. Just so pointless wanting to hold on to old ideas just for the sake of it.

I'll sometime take random photos or record videos eg at gigs, but i don't have my phone filled with videos and photos and music like others seem to do as it's the cool thing to do.

I use the camera and internet quite often on mine and use the video sometimes.

Fair enough for you then i can see how it would be handy in your case.

tbh a phone is a bad thing for me when drunk. I send so many random texts to people, id hate to think what i would do with a camera

Camera phones helpful at work when its just not an option to carry a camera as well.

Why? I just cant see the point of paying over the top prices just because it has everything in 1. I want a phone to be a phone. If i want a camera i have my digtal camera and for music an mp3 player. Might be more to carry, but i bet it cost less and the camera is of better quality </BLOCKQUOTE>

A teenager managed to crack the iphone a few weeks back so that it could be used with any provider... as soon as he threated Apple to put the codes online they offered him a job
