Can I open a .pub file without Microsoft Publisher?
I already have Open Office, but it doesn't seem to be able to open these .pub files. All I need to do is print what is inside, so I'm not necessarily looking for a publishing program, a viewer would be fine. After about a half hour search, I am yet to find anything that can do this.
Annoyingly, as these files contain personal information such as addresses etc, it isn't something I can just send out to someone else with Publisher to open and save as a different format that I can use either.
Any suggestions? Cheers.

Can I open a .pub file without Microsoft Publisher? Post #2
If you receive a Publisher (.pub) file in e-mail and you are unable to open it, you can download a trial version of Publisher.
By using the trial version, you can also find out more about how Office Publisher 2007 can help you quickly create professional-looking publications.
After the trial expires, you can still use the trial version as a viewer for Publisher files, even though you can no longer create or change publications.

It never even occurred to me to search for a Publisher Trial /o\ All I got from my searches was other people asking the same question on other forums and people replying saying there was no viewer.
