i thought he was going to be the "new me" so i could casually slip out of the way and have a more low profile role, however nobody is ready yet to the fill the void that I would leave.

tbf, you responded by bragging about how you're going to get A's and B's in your exams. the fact you see that as some sort of awesome achievement these days suggests Rats was pretty much spot on with the 'dim' comment.
