Probably just leave Villa on.
| Villa is a better footballer tbh. He knows the game better than Torres and is more calmed, Torres on the hand is the player of the future (strong, fast, tireless...). It’s a tough decision but Villa is in front.
If he decided to play 442, highly unlikely at the moment, then we will have to start the Xavi or Cesc debate. Cesc is more complete than Xavi but the latter has been outstanding for Spain lately.
He could stick Villa on the left as he did in the WC leaving Silva out of the team too.

Iniesta not really underrated, just wrongly overshadowed by the sheer amount of 'stars' he is surrounded by.

Villa is better yeah, but it's very close. He shouldn't drop Silva though, he is good. Iniesta can play now though instead of Joaqu*n.
What you think for left back, Capdevila stays? Or Pern*a.
Albelda still on \o/

| Yeah, but unfortunately the world is full of clueless people. Even Rijkaard should understand that Iniesta should have more freedom and should never play in the hole or on the left in that odd 3-4-3 he invented last season. Iniesta and Messi are the only players of the team able to create something by beating his man, so don’t forget the Argentinean.

| When you are the most consistent player of a top team and people barely notice that, then you are underrated. You made a good point though, but look at Eto’o, some people still think that he is overrated etc when he was the most important player of the team (closing down defenders, scoring the opening goal in half of the games and so on). They are all overshadowed by Ronaldinho tbh, which is unfair (especially considering his cuuuuuuuurrent form).
PS: I’m talking as a Spanish leaving in Spain and I don’t know the repercussion (sp?) of Iniesta overseas.

In Spain, that debate doesn’t exist. I mean, Torres isn’t rated at all and Villa is considered a world class player. I disagree as I think that the physical attributes of Torres makes him a superior footballer (if he finally progress as expected).
Between Capdevilla and Pern*a? Capedevilla is a decent player while Pern*a is a poor defender who was overhyped by the media from Madrid because of his goalscoring record at Getafe. Easy decision IMO.
Spain should find a replacement for Albelda or Albelda should recover his best form because a midfield with Alonso, Xavi and co would be too soft.

Yeah the media here dont know he exists and neither do a lot of people I guess.
Infact I take back my original comment, he is underrated.
Cesc is still better though |

Cesc is still better though | Let’s say that he is in a better environment and has a better “professor”. I wish we had Wenger, he would do wonders with our kids (all of them not just a few ones).

Healy's broken the European Qualifying goal scoring record. 13 in the quals, bettering Davor Suker's previous total. Well played that man
