Surely as owners of the club, each member of this orgsanisation will expect/demand free tickets for each match? I mean, are they actually going to PAY to get into matches?
If you buy shares in a company; sure as hell you cannot run it. Although you are allowed to offer suggestions, changes etc.
The final say still rests with the board of directors.

some of the inspired quotes on the BBC comment page:
"I joined, and while im gutted that we have not got a bigger club, im glad that we have got this club as the option, I cant see someone like Dennis Wise listening to owners who he has to play, although I wish we had taken over Southampton, this would help stop George picking random players in stupid positions"
"Disappointing. Ebsfleet who?
I feel they have misled people who have been interested from the outset. Imagine spending £35 for a slice of Leeds\Notts forest and ending up with Ebsfleet!!" - BarnetSteve
such strong support for the club *)

Poor Gravesend.
I actually signed up for this before reading anything but havent given them a penny. Everyone has given this guy £700k so he can buy a football club and for that he lets you vote on stuff for one season. If you then dont pay him a load of money the season after you walk away with nothing while he still has a football club.
Its a very good move on his part. If it works, would be great! But obviously, he will also face consequences if it doesn't work.
I think that if someone can dare enough to do such a thing, he should obviously enjoy it

The more I consider this the more ridiculous it seems, and it might even do harm to other clubs who want fan representation on the board.
Simultaneously to this announcement, Seattle have announced they are soon to have an MLS team, and they are going for a Barcelona style membership scheme.

Daish insisted that he was happy for fans to have an input on team matters.
"Picking 11 players and formations isn't a precise science and luck often plays its part," stated the Ebbsfleet boss.
"During and after matches, Ebbsfleet supporters often give me their opinion on which players should or shouldn't start games. Now they can have their say.
"My job won't change that much. As a club, we'll select the starting 11 players and formation together.
"But just as before, what goes on at the training ground and in the dressing room on the day of the match is down to me.
"It's the supporters' money that finances this club and pays my wages and those of the players.
"So there's a good argument for them having a say in what players they want to see."
...
"We all agree we need something extra to take us to the next step," he said.
"As a football fan, I think the MyFootballClub idea is fantastic.
"As the coach, I look forward to the challenge of working with thousands of members to produce a winning team.
"My assistant Alan Kimble and myself are 100% committed to making this work."
It'll never work

On the whole Gravesend and Northfleet becoming Ebbsfleet thing, did the fans change their chants overnight? Or do they still call it Gravesend and Northfleet?
