Has anyone actually paid the membership fee for this yet? I must say I'm tempted to pay the £35 just to see what the novelty will be about.
You get a free tattoo across your forehead with it. It reads "MUG".

Why on earth are they allowing everyone to choose the team. Not like the thousands of members are going to be watching training daily, have any idea on the level of fitness of some players. Unless they produce an FM style report which shows form, morale and fitness in %

This will be a complete disaster, and Daish won't be around by Christmas.
However, the media will call it a success when they've won their first four of five games, saying it's due to the fans' tactics, and not because of sell outs every week.

I actually signed up for this before reading anything but havent given them a penny. Everyone has given this guy £700k so he can buy a football club and for that he lets you vote on stuff for one season. If you then dont pay him a load of money the season after you walk away with nothing while he still has a football club.

I'm gutted for Gravesend/Ebbsfleet and very glad I didn't contribute to this. Suppose they can enjoy the boost for a year or two before everyone loses interest.
Also, wasn't potential for the Premiership meant to be a criteria for selecting the team? Gillingham would be a better choice locally and I'd don't expect to ever see them competing in the top division.
The only problem here being that we are £12million + in debt and growing. Nobody with a sound mind would want to invest in that, especially with the state of our squad.
In a way though it is good news, because it means we are not part of this joke. I do feel sorry for fans of Ebbsfleet though. They have had a torrid few months which has seen the soul of their club ripped out.

Surely as owners of the club, each member of this orgsanisation will expect/demand free tickets for each match? I mean, are they actually going to PAY to get into matches?
As for Daish, feel sorry that such a promising coach has had to say such nonsense to keep his new 'bosses' sweet. I hope it doesn't dent his chances of getting a better job being associated with such pap.
