I'd say the opposite, compared to maybe having a couple of thousand people caring abit your results at that level he has 50,000 people wanting results from the team.

I assume they get a vote on all issues of running the club including the sacking of the manager, fans will claim his team talks, training and touchline shouting isn't good enough etc, fans won't take the blame themselves for the team lossing even if they should
