I'm gutted for Gravesend/Ebbsfleet and very glad I didn't contribute to this. Suppose they can enjoy the boost for a year or two before everyone loses interest.
Also, wasn't potential for the Premiership meant to be a criteria for selecting the team? Gillingham would be a better choice locally and I'd don't expect to ever see them competing in the top division.

Are the original donations guaranteed or are these chancers now going to have to go cap in hand to the people who indicated they’d participate to collect the money…if so, they’re ****ed.

It's called the Blue Square Conference Premier so they are right, kind of.
Poor Ebbsfleet. Despite his protestations to the contrary, I don't think Daish will stick around for long. I mean, what manager would want some bunch of jokers picking his team for him?

If he's any sense he'll tell them to bugger off and carry out his job as usual. I'd love to see the new owners try to sack him over it.

Have they actually got the money yet? They say they only request it once they've hit 50,000 members, and they've only just hit that amount.
I'd imagine that the great majority of members won't bother coughing up the £35 because they cba, have forgotten all about it, only registered for a laugh, can't afford it, etc, etc.
