I'm gutted for Gravesend/Ebbsfleet and very glad I didn't contribute to this. Suppose they can enjoy the boost for a year or two before everyone loses interest.

Also, wasn't potential for the Premiership meant to be a criteria for selecting the team? Gillingham would be a better choice locally and I'd don't expect to ever see them competing in the top division.

Have they actually got the money yet? They say they only request it once they've hit 50,000 members, and they've only just hit that amount.

I'd imagine that the great majority of members won't bother coughing up the £35 because they cba, have forgotten all about it, only registered for a laugh, can't afford it, etc, etc.

They started collecting money quite a while ago, apparently have got 700k now.

From the beginning this has always been destined to end in disaster because their idea to control team selections, signings etc it unworkable.
