Waoh that's unreal... I bet the guy who gives his shirt to the fans at the end of every match or the one who's funnier/nicer during the interviews will get a lot of playing time...
This team will be a kiss @$$ competition
I can very well see that two midfielders with PASSION and GRIT will consistently be picked over the one guy who can ping a decent pass, because the 'fans' will only ever remember the ones that don't come off... </BLOCKQUOTE>
Oh mine was only an example there's obviously a bunch of things that fans valued more than good football... One of the controvercial (sp?) examples I like to bring up is team loyalty over good plays on the field

OK, I'm giving everyone here the chance to have a say in what I do at work. You pay me £35 per year and every week I will let you know what stuff I need to work on and you can vote on what order I do it in.
One example, say, might be in which order I should code or eat some toast? The day to day runnning of me however will still be done by me though.
Of course, failure to keep paying me an annual fee of £35 will result in you losing your ability to dictate what order I do things in and if, at any point, I decide I no longer want to carry on this scheme you won't get your money back I'm afraid.
Who's interested? Anyone?

Just had a thought about this whole thing. I've posted before in this thread saying how farcical this whole thing is. Having said that, Ebbsfleet really could/should have used this unparalleled access to fans who have a desire to be a tactician to their advantage.
Imagine if Ebbsfleet put full length videos of their opponent's matches online a couple of weeks before a match (let's ignore rights issues here). The manager then goes "right, between the thousands of you so-called tacticians, find some flaws in the opposition. What are their patterns of play, set piece routines etc"
A lower league club probably can't afford video analysis in the way a top flight could, nor would they likely have access to Prozone.
After a few games of this you've suddenly built up a fairly extensive database and anomolies are slowly eradicated; if one person notices something it becomes diluted if 100 people see it the other way.

Erm, can the other 19 teams in the BSP just pay the registration fee and so be privy to Ebbsfleet's tactics, training and form going in to any game they play against them?
